How many cycling events has Terenzi Sport Eventi organized this year? At first glance, the answer seems to be two: the Italian Cyclocross Championship in January and the Gran Premio della Liberazione in April. If we take a closer look, adding up the individual events (competitive and non-competitive) of the two main events, and adding to them the exhibitions for children at the Baths of Caracalla on the occasion of the final stage of the Giro d'Italia in May, the official figure is fifteen races! Or rather, fourteen races plus the eco-solidarity ride Bike 4 Fun, which opened the three days of the GP Liberazione. Of these 15 events, three are international: these are the Under 23, Women, and Juniors races of the Liberazione.
The organizational team led by Claudio Terenzi in 2023, both on road and off-road, has practically dedicated itself to all categories: Youngsters, Beginners, Cadets, Juniors, Under 23, Women, Elite, Masters, and ordinary people, in different corners of that open-air monument that is Rome. In 2024, the cyclocross national championships will not be on the calendar, as they are naturally organized each year by different clubs in various parts of Italy, but the GP Liberazione will always be there, ready to renew and enrich its commitment to bringing cycling to the Capital for every type of cyclist.
For this significant organizational effort, on Saturday, December 9, the Lazio regional committee of the Italian Cycling Federation, represented by president Maurizio Brilli, presented an award to Terenzi Sport Eventi (see photo).
