The Gran Premio della Liberazione aims to truly embrace all categories of youth cycling. From the historic Under 23, today the races involve Elite women and Junior, Allievi, and Esordienti boys. But that's not all.
In these two days, in fact, alongside the "major" races, initiatives have taken place involving the little ones.
Yesterday, in a field just a few steps from the finish line, the Kids Race Liberazione Giovanissimi saw boys and girls up to 12 years old tackle a short-track mountain bike course. We mentioned it in yesterday's race report.
Today, instead, April 25th and the highlight of this 76th Liberazione, in the paved area in front of the Nando Martellini stadium, where on Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th the State Police truck taught road safety and the fight against cyberbullying to many boys and girls in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the organization Terenzi Sport Eventi set up the gymkhanas for Giovanissimi and Esordienti included in the "Abilità Italia" project of the Federciclismo, aimed at refining the cycling skills of the youngest while keeping alive the flame of fun on a bicycle.
